A Different Kind of Therapy Dog
Our Trauma Buddies walk beside people during some of life’s most difficult moments.
A Trauma Buddy offers something powerful: a calm presence, unconditional acceptance, and a connection that requires no words.
They don’t fix the problem. They don’t judge. They simply stay present, offering comfort, safety, and support when it is needed most.

What we do
We offer tailored support to emergency personnel and those they assist. Our specially trained therapy dogs are on-site to provide emotional relief, helping to stabilize situations and enhance community support during critical moments.
Our approach
Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure everyone gets the support they need, when they need it.
Whether it is a reassuring conversation, physical companionship, emotional support, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
Our Vision
To build a world where companionship and support can come from all walks of life.
Diversity allows for the sharpening of perspectives and one’s appreciation for all forms of communication.
Why it matters
It’s Man’s Best Friend
Therapy dogs have a remarkable ability to help people feel safe, calm, and connected during times of stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm.
Science Says
Research has shown that simply being in the presence of a therapy dog—or interacting through petting, touch, or companionship—can help reduce stress and promote the release of oxytocin, often called the “feel-good hormone.”
Yet it’s Beyond Science
Offering something that is difficult to measure but deeply felt. They provide unconditional acceptance, a calming presence, and quiet companionship during life’s most challenging moments.
And It’s Why We Believe
These extraordinary dogs willingly share their energy, compassion, and presence to help bring calm and create moments of connection, comfort, and hope when they are needed most.
