My family adopted me from Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue in 2018 when I was 10 weeks old. Their best guess on my breed is Collie/Retriever/Mastiff mix.
From the time I was about one year old, my parents say people were drawn to me, they would comment on my gentle temperament and say that I would make a great therapy dog.
My Mom says I have had plenty of accomplishments over the years and each one makes her and my Dad proud!
Starting in 2018, I successfully completed 3 levels of obedience training with Summit Canine Academy.
In 2021, I made my first donation to the Canadian Animal Blood Bank and continue to do so with the hopes of reaching 20 donations.
In 2022, I received my Therapy Dog certification through St.John Ambulance. In the same year, my Mom and I joined Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue as a leader for their events & fundraising team. Between those two organizations, I have worked with adults, children and the special needs community. I have helped children and adults work toward overcoming their fear of dogs.
In 2025, I passed two levels of Animal Acting with Dumbledogs.
Over the years, my family and I have taken part in multiple fundraising events for organizations that support those with cancer, for mental health, and animal rescues.
Some activities I enjoy are road trips, camping, swimming, dock diving (jumping over 12’ in a competition), paddle boarding, walks/hikes, visiting family & friends, playing with my dog friends, checking out dog friendly patios, and dog friendly stores where I can soak up as much attention as people are willing to give me!
Did I mention that I’m on a billboard? It’s true, I am! Alongside my fellow alumni/movie star, Dory (cat) from Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue to help raise awareness!
I also had the honour of being involved in a special project supporting the Canadian Animal Blood Bank, with the project set to be rolled out in mid to late summer of 2026!
My Mom and I look forward to this next chapter and being a part of the CARE Pack!
